I've been busy: Nashville 4th of July

For Fourth of July weekend my husband and I made a trip to Nashville.

Downtown on the 4th.

The fireworks were amazing.  We were so close!

Then we did some touristy sight seeing with friends.  Here I am at the Parthenon.

And at the Adventure Science Center.

My husband and I did a space walk.

On our drive home from Nashville we saw this kangaroo carving and just had to take a picture!

It was a really fun weekend but I am worn out.  The rest of July I may just hibernate.

Baby Bunnies

It's been a few months now but (the pictures are so cute I had to share), we had baby bunnies living in one of our raised garden beds.

I did some research to see if they were old enough to be moved or would move out on their own.  I  waited a few weeks but eventually helped the move.  We needed to start planting and just couldn't wait any longer.

So adorable, we still see them around our yard and they have grown to be cute adult bunnies.

I've Been Busy continued

In June I also went to the Cincinnati Zoo.

  

And did some more yard work.

I was also trying to catch up on laundry and get over the jet lag from our Vegas trip.  Which I did just in time to go on another small trip.

Sundresses For Dogs

I found the cutest sun dresses for my girls!  I found them at PetSmart, part of the Martha Stewart pet collection.  They were on sale and buy one get one half price, so I couldn't say no.

I especially love these because the ties on the arms make the dress somewhat adjustable so they fit  them great.

They love them, so cute!

I Have Been Busy: Las Vegas

Where did June go?  I'm just asking this question when it is already half way through July!!!  

At the beginning of June my husband and I went to Las Vegas.

Hofbrauhaus

Best thing on the strip... Marshalls!  Ok, that may not be true, but I was pretty excited.

I got to try In-n-Out burger for the first time.

Also got to see some of historic route 66 on the way to the Grand Canyon.

The Grand Canyon is... Grand, I mean just HUGE.

Pretty awesome.

Love the animals at the Flamingo.

The fountains at the Bellagio are always great!

Coke floats, yummy!

We did a lot of walking.  It is fun to see all of the different casinos.

We ate a lot!!  Chicken and waffles for me.

Even found a cupcake ATM, awesome.

It was a really great trip.
